Working with one of my top luxury jewelry clients hiring for a few very experienced Luxury Boutique Retail Associates. This will be a permanent hire who, if all goes well, will work ongoing - MUST have weekend availability both Saturday and Sunday, and a weekday as well. Base hourly pay plus opportunity to receive commission, which you will learn more about in later stages of the interview process. This role will be based in SAN JOSE, CA - FULLY ONSITE . There will be a training when you start for 1 week in Brooklyn and then in NYC. The ideal background will be someone who has worked with luxury jewelry/accessories or was a high-end personal shopper with a top well-known brand or large department store. JOB DESCRIPTION: The Retail Ambassador/Associate achieves and exceeds sales targets as directed by management and proactively develops their client portfolio. They ensure a unique client experience throughout all touchpoints and actively participate in the daily operations of the boutique. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Consistently achieve and/or exceed the monthly sales target, as directed by management. Ensure that each client receives outstanding and exceptional customer service by providing a friendly environment, greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining standards, solid product knowledge, and all other components of Customer Service before, during, and after sales. This includes after-sales clients if a brand after-sales dedicated area/staff is not available. Adapt approach according to client needs and motivations. Negotiate and handle objections with ease. Assist and support after-sales clients in accordance with Maison values. Act as a referent and provide recommendations that will enhance the client experience. Remain current on industry news and competitors. Client Relationship Management: Cultivate new and existing client relationships through exceptional service and Maison-specific CRM initiatives, partnering with management to develop client plans. Consistently and accurately capture client data for follow-up and relationship building, utilizing available tools. Resolve client issues/concerns appropriately and escalate as needed. Partner with management to support in-store and offsite events and networking. Understand and comply with all security and operational policies. Assist with daily set-up, breakdown, merchandising, and maintenance of displays. Participate in inventories and cycle counts for audits. Support special projects as needed (e.g., price changes, back-office responsibilities). REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Must be able to work Saturday and Sunday consistently, plus one weekday. 2 to 5 years of luxury retail experience. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment. Computer and internet savvy; MS Office required; SAP preferred. Additional language skills are a plus. Knowledge of timepiece movements is preferred. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong customer service orientation and attention to detail. Genuine ambassador of the brand with professional demeanor. Self-starter with a team-player attitude. Availability for retail hours, weekends, and travel for trainings and events.
