Role Overview:

As an Inventory Control Coordinator (ICC) at Floor & Decor, you’ll oversee the Sample Fulfillment Center’s inventory of raw materials and sample cuts for eCommerce customer orders, as well as manage the fulfillment process for FDX program orders to stores. The ICC plays a crucial role in maintaining inventory accuracy and integrity.

Key Responsibilities for Inventory Control Coordinator:

• Inventory Management: Organize and conduct regular cycle counts with strict adherence to protocols and maintain accurate record-keeping.
• Discrepancy Investigation: Identify and resolve any inventory discrepancies in the system, and report findings to the Inventory Control Supervisor.
• Employee Engagement: Foster employee involvement in shrink prevention by implementing incentive and reward programs for effective performance.
• Report Management: Conduct daily audits, such as the NIR and ASR, to ensure compliance with Inventory Control SOPs.
• Data Analysis: Use weekly SILVON reports to verify inventory status codes (EX, AD, WO, VA, US, and DM), correct any discrepancies, and securely file reports monthly.
• Shipment Verification: Perform thorough checks on all incoming and outgoing trucks, ensuring all shipping and receiving documents are accurate.
• Labeling and SKU Accuracy: Immediately report any labeling or SKU discrepancies to the Inventory Control Supervisor.
• Order Processing: Accurately record all incoming POs and transfers in the system and assist in maintaining accurate physical inventory records.

Requirements:

• Experience: 1-3 years of warehouse and inventory experience preferred.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with RF scanning, data capture devices, and warehouse management systems.
• Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and work efficiently in a dynamic environment.
• Customer Service: Exceptional service skills and ability to work under pressure.

Physical/Sensory Requirements:

• Ability to lift, push, pull, or move objects with a force of 10-50 pounds.
• Frequent standing, reaching, stooping, and balancing are required.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with moderate to high noise levels and moving vehicles.
